It's not the worst pub we've ever seen, but it is one of the most depressing. Although it's a grand looking building and a recent refurbishment means it is nowhere near as filthy as before, a good number of shambolic and melancholic drunks still drained our will to enjoy life, let alone a pint. As you would expect in Kilburn there is a large Irish contingent, in fact the pub celebrates its famous Irish links, but here they all speak the international language of hopelessness.

Not clean, not comfortable, not really cheap, manager is unwelcoming.
