The Crown, Chelsea
FancyaPint?'s review...
Surprisingly titchy, it actually is smaller than it looks from the outside. It had a makeover a few years ago, with efforts to maximise the space inside. A little surprisingly, the section at the back was all set for food when we were in last. The beer's well kept and there is a limited menu, not quite as gastro as on our previous visit and the wine list looks like it's reasonably priced. To be honest, the flag of Wills and Kate opposite the bar nearly put us off our beer, though. Pleasant enough and a decent local, just be prepared for a bit of crowding when its busy.
