Hidden away in the streets between Commercial Road and the River, this pub has hardly changed over the years (not necessarily a bad thing) but is really only for those who know it. It's friendly and the beer is OK, the food's cheap and that's about it. Most of the week the clientele is local lunchtimers, but it picks up a bit in the evening towards the end of the week. Doesn't seem to be open at the weekend, but given where it is, that's hardly surprising.
