The Eaglet, Finsbury Park
FancyaPint?'s review...
There's nothing particularly bad about this pub, but then there's nothing particularly good, either, apart from the fact that it is rather less grubby inside than the exterior would suggest. The Eaglet seems to be your bog-standard local boozer - its relative cheapness makes it especially popular with local workers when it gets to the end of the month. The inside configuration of the pub is a bit strange - there is a lot of empty floor space and a strange stage/mural area on one wall, which seems to indicate either that it gets rammed at weekends or might have held live events at some point - we couldn't find any confirmation of this anywhere, however. Not a bad pub, but if you're out for a pint in Holloway you could do a lot better.
