Funky new name does not spell an improvement in service. Indeed, if anything this place has *un*proved. Sure, you don't expect fireworks on a Monday night in November, but you might expect, say, a choice of more than two lagers - heaven forfend you might want a drink with any more taste (they were even out of gin when we turned up). Yes, just two lagers on tap, not even Guinness, and there were 3 types of bottled lager the fridge. Despite the place being almost empty, we had to shout to make ourselves heard. And the toilets are as grotty as ever. We suspect that the only thing 'elusive' about this pub is its quality.

If you leave the station by the main entrance, you'll see all the bus stops straight ahead and to the right. Turn right and then turn right again down Wilton Road. The pub is two minutes down on the right-hand corner. If you take the Victoria Street/Coach station exit, turn right and cross the road at the crosswalk. Bear right down Wilton Road and the pub is two minutes down on the right-hand corner.
