The Enterprise, Primrose Hill
FancyaPint?'s review...
An honest pub with none of the pub theme park style of décor you seem to get in this area. There's a strong Irish literary theme to the décor - pictures of numerous notables adorn the walls and there are poetry evenings continuing the literary tradition. There's a large band of regulars, supplemented by visitors to the upstairs events, but depending on the time of day, its a place where you could sit alone and read a paper, or have a full-on night out with your mates - it takes it all in its stride (which is lucky as our Friday night visit found it full to bursting with young trendy Camdenites). A decent range of drink is on offer, including stuff ranging from real ale to Belgian and other continental beers, and the service is OK too.
