Another pub with an identity crisis. After a refurb at the tail end of 2006, The Old King's Head carved itself out a nice little niche as a rock pub, but that didn't last long and then became an Arsenal heavy football pub instead. Now, however, its veered back into alternative territory again and is now a music pub called The Gaff. We'll get back soon to see how it is.

As of May 2011 (or so) this became a Costa Coffee shop. Another sad loss.

From Holloway tube, turn left and walk for about five minutes. The pub is over the other side of the road, just after the large junction with Tollington Road.
