With all the charm and intimacy of an airport departure lounge, this place is designed to pack them in. It's part of the new development around the Cutty Sark DLR station and Wetherspoon have opened up what surely must be one of their profitable branches here. Packed with a surprising number of locals (you'd expect mainly tourists here), this place will never fail to draw in punters. You can enjoy a pint and diesel particulates on the terrace out front, or have a very cheap meal and a few cheap drinks inside. Not one for the pub connoisseur, but if you're drinking on a budget in the area, this is the one for you. The upstairs bar has the telly in it and was a bit quieter on our last visit, so might be a place to escape the hordes - at least for a bit.
