We arrived here at 11.30 pm on a Saturday night to grab a quick pint before the last train back to town We ended up having three! We think they call last orders at 1, but the last train for Paddington leaves at 0050. This large pub was full of Asian lads, and the odd Asian girl, mostly around 18-25 years of age. This is a pub run by Punjabis for Punjabis - there is even a huge map on the Punjab on the wall! Lest that give the wrong impression, despite the fact that neither of us was Asian, the bar staff were friendly and efficient and the punters willing to chat. Also for a 'kids' pub' there was remarkably little aggro and testosterone on display. As you'd expect, they had a very wide range of Indian lager on tap. We didn't try their food, but it looked and smelt like good honest North Indian grub. The décor was a bit cheesy - the lights were too bright and the carpet a bit too loud. But all in all this is a very pleasant spot for a drink handy for the station if you find yourself in London's far west.
