The Grazing Goat (ex-Bricklayer's Arms), Marble Arch
FancyaPint?'s review...
Part of the Cubitt group behind the Thomas Cubitt et al, we’d say it's a bit more upmarket than most local pubs. When we were last in on a Friday night, all the tables in the main floor bar were set for eating which, while you didn’t have to eat (as we found out) but it can be off-putting. Possibly why it was a little quiet, too. Friendly enough, with decent beer Doom Bar, Deuchars and Meantime’s Special on when we were in last as well as a couple euro lagers and Guinness. Not surprisingly, wine features heavily here. There's table service and a lot of the clientele sounded like they’d escaped from their local hotels, perhaps. Pleasant enough, just a bit more bar than pub for us. Maybe that should be hotel bar, as they’ve got rooms available too.

Comprehensively and lavishly refurbished, but they are no longer a pub. They refuse to serve groups of 10 at the bar (we were refused service as soon as a 10th person arrived) and are fixated with becoming a restaurant. A great shame, and a big loss for the pub world.
