The Greyhound, Kensington
FancyaPint?'s review...
Ah, the vicarious world of pub trends. Not too long ago, when bare boards and minimalist decor were all the rage, the interior of this one was emptied out. Now, with a plusher look being followed, this one has been reversed to almost what it was before... Decor aside, not much has changed: this one still offers up a decent chain pub experience, with familiar suspects on the drinks list and food menu, and comfortable enough surroundings to enjoy them in. Being set just off Kensington High Street suggests a quietish pub, but given the journos of the Daily Mail and Evening Standard work across the road, we're sure the takings at this one will be healthy enough.
