Looking shabbier than ever, but still resolutely hanging on, the Harp of Erin, it must be said has seen happier times. The service was friendly enough, but most of the booze was off - even though the pumps were lit. We had a quick half and moved on - if only to get away from the rather questionable (drains?) odour. With no pubs left on Deptford High Street nowadays, the Harp of Erin might just hang in there, but if it it doesn't get a makeover soon, we suspect it's not long for this world.
