After many previous incarnations, teenage hangout The Green Man was totally refitted and turned into an upmarket restaurant, with a bar annex in 2005. Since then it went been through many other unsuccessful changes of approach and eventually closed. It is now La Collina Verde ("The Green Hill") - an Italian restaurant.

Not really near a tube. Turnpike Lane is probably the nearest, a few minutes bus ride away. Catch the 144 towards Muswell Hill and it's at the top of the steep hill on the right.
