The Hob is the place for live entertainment in Forest Hill, whether it's live music, karaoke, DJ nights or the East Dulwich Comedy Club, there's a lot going on. Friendly service and decent ale - kept at Cask Marque standards - make it pleasant enough, although there's still a hint of the studenty about this pub. With a regular quiz on Thursday, a pool table and WiFi, as well as an open fire for those winter nights, there's not a lot else one could want from a pub in this part of town. It's more live venue than local pub, but there's an individuality to this one that marks it out from the local competition and that's won us over as well.
