The Ifield, Fulham

An old pub that's been redecorated in the trendy, seedy bar style that's a reaction to the clinical All BarSlugPitcherHeeltap style. It's decorated to look like it hasn't been decorated - windows painted out, most surfaces painted "Ifield Blue", chairs, tables, settees etc all kind of thrown together. The young things that crowd the place seem oblivious to this and really are only there for the buzz. Food and drink seemed decent enough, but nothing remarkable is on offer. Not the place for a quiet drink and a gentle perusal of the Sundays, you'll be here to kick off the evening's proceedings with your mates. Many of the pubs and bars in this area come and go, but the Ifield is one of the more established venues.
Definitely not a pub anymore - looks like flats.

Leave Fulham Broadway station walk and walk along Fulham Road past Stamford Bridge. Carry on until you just get past Brompton cemetery. Ifield Road will be on your left and the pub is a short way up on a corner in front of you.
