The Larrik (Ex-Kings Arms), Parsons Green
FancyaPint?'s review...
OK, so this one is back being The Larrick after shutting down as the Kings Arms earlier in the year. What we've got here is a combination of a sports/beach/music bar. We popped in for lunch and found it to be empty except for the barman. Despite the quietness, the service was friendly and quick, and they have several big screens with various sports on show to pass the time. Fans of al fresco drinking will be rewarded with a closed off courtyard area. Food had a distinctive antipodean twist to it and was good quality. Due to the number of customers on our visit, we'll have to just imagine what it's like when it's busy but we imagine that it's good fun and lively. There's table football in one corner and a good choice of lagers and ciders on the taps. Only one pump ale, sadly, but i don't think this place is catering for that market. We'll try and get back when there's a few more people in the place.
