The Lukin (ex-O'Neill's), Regent's Park
FancyaPint?'s review...
Once upon a time as the Adams Arms, this pub played an important role in the growth of Creation Records. Nearly 30 years on, this The Lukin's settling in nicely after its recent(ish) change from being a standard O'Neill's pub. Now, there's a youthful feel to proceedings: colourful artworks on the wall, table football on offer and - a show of confidence, this - their own branded T-shirts for sale. More importantly, the drink on offers a fair selection and if the screens for the sport aren't stirring the emotions, the skylight in the back room offers a fine view of the BT Tower (an intriguing perspective after a couple of beers). This one offers up something different to the nearby pubs, and being tucked away off Fitzroy Square helps give it an rather an undiscovered air.
