The Mitcham Mint, Mitcham
FancyaPint?'s review...
A bit of a working-class residential backwater and, as the only pub for half a mile or more, this one pitches itself very much at the locals. Still the barman was friendly enough, opting to declare the Courage Best he had drawn as being off rather than - as it's not unknown for some pubs with casual visitors - seeing if we'd make a fuss about it. What to say? It's a single, biggish, comfortable and clean enough bar and the darts and tabletop football are always a welcome sight. John Smith's smooth was the alternative to the discarded Courage and other standard liquids are available. No sign of any solids.
