No surprise to anyone whose been to any of M&B's more upmarket pubs, the one surprising thing about the North Star was the relaxed and friendly atmosphere despite its prime position on Ealing High Road. A good-looking building from the outside, inside the clientele was varied, from older couples popping in for a pre-meal drink, to chilled groups in their mid-twenties off elsewhere later. The drink choice was, as usual, good and they serve food till fairly late. Although this one gets pretty busy later on weekend evenings, for a mid week drink you'll find this is one of the better pubs in the centre of Ealing.
