Large pub with friendly-enough locals and okay beer. Bit of a sporting theme with tellies in every room. Does have a small room at the back which is a haven. Excellent pint of Guinness (well poured by the landlady) but a disappointingly small selection of bitters. It's had some trouble lately, but we're hoping that was a one off. And it could also use a lick of paint.

Been using this pub on and off for about a year now. Definitely a locals pub, but they have made me very welcome. Got spruced up for the Olympics! Great for sporting events, and the landlord tries to have as many differnent sports on the various tv's. Only pub in Leyton I can find to watch the Six Nations and the Grand Prix. I agree, not a large choice of bitters as a friend recently found out, but found a very agreeable lager instead. If you want a warm Irish welcome, like sport and just want a traditional pub, this should be on your list.

Decentish local that could do with a lick of paint. Nice pint of Guiness and friendly staff.
