The Oakdale Arms, Turnpike Lane
FancyaPint?'s review...
Well after years under perpetual threat of closure, the developers have finally won and the Oakdale is shut. More flats for an area that didn't need them. If truth be told it had gone downhill for a while beforehand but it was still a good place for a pint and a game of pool. Hopefully the pub lizards have found a good home.

How to find the The Oakdale Arms pub
A fair way from any public transport, from Manor House tube take the exit 7 for Green Lanes. Once above ground walk north passing The Finsbury pub. Keep walking for about 5 minutes until turning right down Hermitage Road (opposite the park). Keep walking for about 15 minutes and you'll come to the pub. If you're coming by rail, Harringay, Green Lanes and Stamford Hill are closer. It's also walkable from Seven Sisters, but best get the A-Z out from there.
