The Old Sergeant, Enfield
FancyaPint?'s review...
No surprises in this unremarkable Enfield boozer on our weekday visit. Boarded up for a while, it's certainly better to have a pub open than not, but essentially this is a local pub for local people. Consequently, its sometimes rather cliquey. Still, a jukebox promising 'thousands' of tunes (where one resists the urge to indulge in a little wyatting) plus darts and pool give the place a little more oomph. Add good service and a couple of well kept McMullen ales on tap but a sometimes dreary atmosphere, and it's not a place to avoid, just not one to go out of your way for. There was also something resembling a beer garden, but it may have been the pub's delivery yard.

How to find the The Old Sergeant pub
Out of Enfield Chase (WAGN) train Station, turn right and then left at the 1st lights onto 'Chase Side'. Walk for a few minutes until you reach the cross junction just passed the Wetherspoon pub. Turn right and the Old Sergeant is on the right.
