The Packhorse, Gerrards Cross
FancyaPint?'s review...
In some senses, a formulaic pub can work well. It's a light, clean pub, the no-smoking area probably works better than most and there is an impressive and well kept range or beers on tap and in bottles at decent prices (including 3 ales). We've given this one a couple of tries now, but somehow a cool feeling from both staff and décor seem to keep the punters at bay, even on a bitter winters day with the obligatory real (gas) fires on. Sorry, but for us the the chemistry in this formulae is not quite right.

How to find the The Packhorse pub
From Gerrards Cross station, head up the ramp to the High Street and turn right. Keep going straight on, and the pub is the last building in the village on the right hand side, about 500m walk.
