Classy joint - nothing like old Turk's Head, but there are no real surprises there - it's across the road from Gordon Ramsay's Petrus, for christ's sake. From the same people behind the Thomas Cubitt, it has a similar feel and table service is de rigeur - something very underrated in our opinion. You can get a good pint of Adman's, which is rare in a place that feels more restauranty/wine bar than pub, as well as eurolager. The wine list is fairly complete, featuring largely Old World wines and the friendly and competent staff are just as we've come to expect from this group. To be honest it's a bit more restaurant than bar, but they don't bat an eyelid if one stops in for just a drink, which wins points in our book.
