The Partridge, Bromley
FancyaPint?'s review...
Apparently this Fuller's Ale and Pie house used to be a bank and consequently the décor is rather grand. Its reminiscent of a ballroom, with high ceiling, marble pillars, chandeliers, carved wood and even a row of busts above the bar. There are alcoves and two smaller side rooms, but there's less seating than you'd imagine so you can often find nowhere to sit at peak times. It tends to be the place people go when they've done their shopping, rather than for a loud and crazy night out. There's quite a pleasant seating area outside, too, but again it is limited and fills up very quickly in the summer. They also have an excellent selection of ales and wines, and the menu is pretty good, with a focus on pies. Overall, probably Bromley's only centrally located pub which still has a traditional feel and a degree of class.
