A large, locals' boozer with accommodation. It's got the usual beers on the hand pumps - Directors, Bass and Greene King IPA, with the added bonus(!?) of John Smith's cask ale. It's a pretty decent place, immaculately kept, and whilst it's unlikely one would journey to Rainham to sample the delights of the Phoenix, if you're in the area, it's worth popping in for a pint or two.
