Well, the Plough Inn is definitely closed as the rumours suggested and destined to be - you guessed it - flats. We'll keep an eye on it and see what pops up in the planning applications.

The plough inn is probably the best music venue in east london, soul, jazz, blues, folk you name it, every time i go there i have a good time and the honey dew is fantastic.

The new Plough Quiz is great. The quizmaster, barefoot Tony is really good. Last week was hilarious as he did a theme round on blue movies to spend your second home allowance on. He also had a guy on a keyboard doing the music questions 100 year of popular music.

It was a fun night and I will definitely go again. Nearly forgot, Tony really is barefoot.

The pub is just opposite Wood Street railway station. You can catch the Overground from Liverpool Street or Walthamstow Central (which is the closest you're going to get to this one by tube). The pub is just across the road - can't miss it. There are buses, but check <a href="http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl" target="_blank">Transport for London</a> for best way to get there.
