A Young's pub, so you'd think this a safe bet. Shame this is the most run-down pub in the road; even the pub dog is on its last legs. Seamus, the landlord, is wonderfully welcoming and a source of great entertainment, but he's not enough of a draw to stop this feeling like someone else's grandparents' house rather than a public house.
Demolished, to make way for flats.

Overview
A cosmopolitan New-York inspired bar and kitchen on the increasingly trendy St John’s Hill, just a couple of minutes walk from Clapham Junction station.
Detailed Description
Open for brunch, lunch and dinner, the Anglo-American menu is all about small plates.
Inspired by New York eateries famous for their tasting plates and little bites, we believe the best things come in small packages.
On the bar you’ll find a carefully selected wine list and a host of international craft beers as well as a cocktail menu with plenty of our own cheeky twists.
So if it’s just a pint and a bowl of white truffle chips, a birthday bash with bubbles on ice or a foodie pilgrimage for one of our Boston peanut-butter burgers, we’ve got it covered!
