The Plough, Crews Hill
FancyaPint?'s review...
With three separate bars, two conservatories, a child's play area, a large garden and huge car parking space, this pub certainly fits into the 'large country pub' category. Being located in a road filled only with nurseries (the plant variety) it has a captive audience, but does retain a certain character and has a fair mix of customers, not too many of whom are locals. Like many refurbished country pubs near London, it adopts that wooden olde worlde look and is heavily family orientated. However, it's not oppressive and if you want to avoid the families, one of the bars doesn't permit children. On the downside, although perfectly edible, the food suffers somewhat from having to deal with the huge demand, especially on Sundays. Oh and one final claim to fame: if you own a Ford Granada you'll be happy here - it's the location for the Ford Granada appreciation society meetings!

How to find the The Plough pub
The WAGN train line travels to Crews Hill train station and from there turn left onto the main road. The pub is 400 yards on the right, after the Garden Centres. W10 bus goes there from Enfield Town, too.
