Not a great deal has changed during the makeover of this vast, split-level pub. Now part of the Barracuda chain, the only really noticeable difference is the introduction of plasma screen TVs above the bar so that Cittee folk can catch up with the cricket scores during their lunchtime sojourn, which, owing perhaps to the slightly improved menu, this place seems to attract in their droves. The staff don't seem to have too much difficultly in coping with the lunchtime confluence either, although then trying to get a place to sit and actually enjoy your rapidly settling pint of Guinness will probably be the most enervating part of your visit.
