Acton High Street doesn't offer much for people in the 25-35 age bracket, so for many this branch of the Puzzle Pub Company probably comes as a welcome relief. Reminiscent of All Bar One with its clean, neat, pine experience its thankfully has a more exciting atmosphere than most ABOs. Popular with Antipodeans, Puzzle is perfectly acceptable for a midweek drink and one of the more lively places in the area on the weekend, without becoming annoying. Recently the words "Sports Bar" have appeared on the sign outside and indeed there are numerous plasma screens dotted about, even if most people weren't paying attention on our visit. It's worth noting this fact if you plan to come here during a big footy match, however. Apparently live bands make an appearance here sometimes, too.

Now a restaurant

The Puzzle, like the rest of the chain, has gone. Now an asian restaurant.
