We wonder if possibly this one suffers by its location near the tube and as a place to pop in on the way to somewhere else. During the day, it's pleasant enough, with the attentive staff doing the business well and keeping on top of things. It changes later, getting busier and more boisterous as the night goes on. There's plenty to choose from, with a good range of continental beers on the taps as well as three real ales to choose from. The food looks good and is reasonably priced. We don't mind it so much for an afternoon, but would tend to avoid it later on. What was interesting was the Cider Fest they had on when we were in last - lots of guest ciders to choose from.
