Located right beside Finsbury Park tube and bus stations, this small, oddly laid out and sparse pub is arguably a convenient place to meet people, rather than hanging around outside the station. The service is friendly enough, there is a small beer garden out the back and a 1970s jukebox which caters for more traditional tastes. That said, the Guinness wasn't exactly in very good condition. Patronised by a small but boisterous Irish crowd when we were there, it's better for a quick pint rather than a long session.
