A cavernous corner pub, this one looks like it's been here awhile. Not bad, but the ads for rugby and "buckets" of Carling, Boddingtons and Castle on a Saturday don't bode well. Possibly a good place to escape while the other half goes shopping, but not one for a quiet one on a weekend.

Being converted into pricey flats - dead as the proverbial.

On leaving the tube, it's probably easiest to cut through the Stratford Centre across the road. Go straight through and you should come out by McDonald's. Cross the Broadway and it's straight ahead
