The Swan - the only pub in the area and the only one we know with a full sized snooker table in North London - has failed in it's battle to stay open. An uncertain future awaits.

I am afraid to report that, despite a local campaign to change the outcome, The Swan has now closed down.

Hey yes, you must have got a bad day! Though the pub is unusual in being two pubs in one, a snug and a kind off sports bar. The snug always has people in while the big bar goes from being very busy to pretty quiet, and unpredictably. Don't know when you were there as in my experiance it is always pretty busy but as it is so big it sometimes does not seem that way. By the way there are plans to close it and a very active campaign to save it. There have been meetings at the pub on sunday nights with 70/80 people there. check out savetheswan.com
