A straight-up locals' pub, this. It's not unfriendly to outsiders, it's just that the place is a bit off the beaten track and would have little reason to expect much passing trade. It's large, clean and has some comfy chairs but was nearly empty on our early evening visit. Everyone else there seemed to be something of a fixture. The choice of beer is limited (no real/draught ales) with cider and some spirits. There's plenty of room inside, even a sort of stage, though we could find no indications what it might be used for.
