Sport is the main theme of this pub, although it seems to attract a lot of local office types that aren't that bothered about sport. Go figure, as there's barely a seat in the place that doesn't have a view of the large screens plastered about the place. There's pool tables and darts in the back, for those that like a little competition with their beer. Yes, there is beer available here, two hand pumps with Brains SA and Pride when were last in, another unusual thing for a sports bar. It appears that most major sport is shown here, and the drink deals tie into what's on, with specific deals for the rugby and football. With a reasonable menu and inexpensive wine list (nothing over £22) and regular comedy nights, this one really is trying to do a lot, and judging by the crowds they're getting a lot of things right.
