The Twelve Pins, Finsbury Park
FancyaPint?'s review...
The sheer size of The Twelve Pins and its proximity to Finsbury Park station limit its appeal a little, but it's not really so bad. The interior is quite magnificent, if a little careworn, a good example of a Victorian pub interior. The varied mix of punters seem oblivious to its charms, content to drink quietly and keep themselves to themselves, and as it's an Irish pub, there's a decent drop of Guinness to be had here. The pub shows all kinds of sport, and has regular appearances by Irish bands - it can get lively when they're on.
