The Victoria, Dalston
08 Apr 2013
Bizarre, run down, weird... clientele divided between what seems to be a mostly Afro-Carribean group of steady regulars and the neauveau lilywhite London hipster elite (literally, divided on either side of the bar). That said, the lineups on posters in the windows defo indicate The Victoria is sincerely on the forward edge of live music venue come the weekend.
During the week, who knows? It could host blindfolded LSD flower arranging classes... nothing would shock me in this place. Just what you want in a fringe pub awash in the staunch predictability of Dalston these days.
