Where Marylebone meets Edgware Road provides rich pickings if you like your pubs independent of mind, and whilst the Victory isn't quite up there with the best of them, it does try manfully to make a fist of it. The interior décor is pleasant and comfortable enough, and marks this one out as an independent concern. The food looked worth a try though we were slightly perturbed that on the drinks front, the most prominent pump appeared to be dispensing Coors... Still, fair play to the pub for making room for some seats out at the back of the pub - though given the proximity of the neighbours' windows it's not a spot you can feel too relaxed in.

Nice pub, but awfully quiet for its large size. Also doesn't serve food!
