Despite this not being our favourite pub in the area (lack of interesting ales and a bland, noisy interior), were sorry to see that it has now shut up shop. Minutes of a Council meeting indicate what lies ahead for this attractive property: another lovely block of flats.

How to find the The Westminster pub

From Westminster: Come out of the station and walk past the Houses of Parliament, keeping them on your left. Walk parallel to the River Thames until you reach the next bridge (Lambeth Bridge). At the roundabout turn right into Horseferry Road. At the first set of traffic lights, turn left into Marsham Street. Page Street, and The Westminster, are slightly further down on your right-hand side. From Pimlico: Take the Bessborough Street North exit. Follow Bessborough Street as it curves around to your left, and you'll come to Vauxhall Bridge Road. The White Swan pub will be in front of you, over the road. Cross over, and walk left about fifty feet, then turn right onto Regency Street. Go along Regency and take your second right onto Page Street. It's on the right, on the corner of the junction with Marsham.
