A shabby and rather melancholy dive, it's remarkable that this one's still standing given the verging-on-derelict state of the exterior. Sure, it fulfils a need for its band of regular drinkers but it's unlikely you'll want to cross the threshold if you're not one of them.

This pub has really perked up with a change in management. Good beers, decent service, great sourdough pizzas and a mix of traditional and more modern decor.

So much better since it's changed hands! Defo worth a visit for the pizza alone!

Probably the best pizza I've had in London and a superb pint of draught ale.

Turn up for the books in this place. Must be under new management. Complete refit inside, nice beers on, no longer smells of death. Different music nights on at the weekend. Welcome addition to tulse hill

I find the first review slightly unfair. The staff are very friendly and you often find a number of singles who go down to watch the football........... But, yes, otherwise it's inhabited by local down and outs and an entertaining gay oldie!

Overview

Building on the success of their first pub, The Libertine in Borough, Jan, Eno, David and JP have recently taken on The White Hart in Tulse Hill.

Detailed Description

The interior of the Victorian pub has been creatively updated with features from the past and the bar has been redesigned to make the most of internal space.

A wide range of real ales are on regular rotation and kept beautifully fresh. We also stock an excellent list of wines from Waterloo Wines and an exotic selection of spirits.

Our kitchen serves possibly the finest pizza in London. Handmade to order using our own freshly kneaded dough, it is topped with the best seasonal ingredients from Wild Harvest and Borough Market.

Heston Blumenthal’s favourite ‘Brays’ pork pies are also available, served with cornichons and chilli relish on the side. The family friendly pub is open weekdays from 4 -11pm and weekends midday-1am. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
