The White Horse (ex-Broadgate Exchange), Liverpool Street
FancyaPint?'s review...
The White Horse is another new link in the Geronimo chain (see what we did there?) this ones changed beyond all recognition - and that's not a bad thing. Formerly the Broadgate Exchange, it's been remade in Geronimo's image, complete with a bright, if pastel-y green paint and wallpaper on the walls and we have to say it bears little resemblance to its dark and pubby forbear. Fairly typical offering from the chain, that doesn't make it bad - they do this sort of thing very well. And judging by the crowds on a cold afternoon, it's going down well with the local office types. If you're meeting in the area, you could do far worse than pop in here for a bevy. Friendly and helpful staff round out the experience, almost guaranteeing we'll be back. Our only complaint would be the bulk of the seating being set out for lunch, restricting drinkers to the bar area and the tables with stools near the faux fire. We can see why it's doing well with the locals and have to say it's a very pleasant alternative to the previous pub.

How to find the The White Horse (ex-Broadgate Exchange) pub
Exchange Square can be seen from Liverpool Street train shed it's at the end of the platforms at the opposite end to the ticket barriers. Leave the station and turn right (Liverpool Street exit) or left (Bishopsgate exit), then take the next right (or left) into exchange square. The massed hordes will give you a clue to the pub's location.
