Great, unpretentious, proper pub. The Windmill is situated slap-bang in the middle of The Cut. It serves great Thai food with an excellent value lunch deal consisting of side dish, main dish & rice for only £7.50! The ales are well kept and there is a large selection of lagers available including Coors Light on draught which I don't see that often in London! Staff are friendly & welcoming & there is usually some kind of sport event on the tv which is always a good thing! It's a great pub, go there.

Very nice pub, relaxed atmosphere and very very friendly staff. Had a great time in there the other night. Crackingly funny Irish lad behind the bar had us in stitches. Will definitely be back....soon!

This would be a much nicer pub if the landlady wasn't so rude. Maybe it's time she retired if she can't treat customers with common courtesy. I've seen her be rude to numerous people, and am amazed no one ever complains. She is quite scary though.
