What with a black and white mock Tudor frontage and its setting next to a duck pond, this one has all the appearance of an archetypal country inn. Alas, not is all as it seems. Perhaps the place was due a refit on our visit, but we found the pub to be rather bare and drab. The punters seemed content with their lot, though we didn't ask them to make sure. Attractions such as a pool table and a weekly Karaoke session may produce more smiles from the locals than we saw on our visit. Beer Garden

Demolished to make way for flats.
