TP's, Bromley
FancyaPint?'s review...
After periodic threats (dare we say "hopes"?) of closure, Bromley's notorious Walkabout bit the dust a few weeks ago, joining the boarded-up ranks of the Greyhound (closed since ca. 2005), the Star & Garter (closed early 2010) and the imaginatively-named Bromley's (closed early 2009) and meaning that of the seven pubs on "Asbo Alley", we were briefly down to three. Alas, the Walkabout has now reopened as something in much the same vein - TP's. With selected drinks at two quid, door staff at the weekends and a gaggle of barely-18s huddled outside smoking in the rain, you know that little has changed. We've granted the place a pint - one more than its predecessor - as it's not a bad fuel stop and doesn't (yet) seem as aggro as the Walkabout was. We like the royal blue colour scheme too (well, it beats the old canary yellow-and-green) but suggest that you push the boat out and head to the Partridge next door.

I've been to walkabout a number of times at lunchtime and always managed to get a decent seat and the food was no more than 10 minutes away.
Add to that reasonable prices for both food and drink and you have a decent place to go...
