Travellers Tavern, Sloane Square
FancyaPint?'s review...
Proximity to a Railway Station is (usually) the kiss of death for a pub, so being next to London's main bus terminal this one doesn't stand much of a chance. With a disparate clientele, either knackered after a long journey or sinking a few before heading out on one (but hey, less about the Coach drivers... only joking Stagecoach) this pub struggles for atmosphere. Pretty much the pub equivalent of sitting in a bus shelter with a can of something strong, nevertheless, it does serve decent enough beer, with Bombardier, IPA and Pride on the pumps and the food looks reasonable enough, overall. Those travellers could do a lot worse.
