Two Brewers, Covent Garden
FancyaPint?'s review...
Despite a proximity to the throng of Cambridge Circus, Covent Garden and Leicester Square, The Two Brewers has the feeling of a pub somewhere a little less central. In the evenings its gets busy, of course, but not uncomfortably so. In fact, probably for not being on a direct or obvious thoroughfare to anywhere in particular, it seems to get missed by many WC2 drinkers. No matter; the friendly staff serve up cheap pub grub and a couple of real ales in a dark wooden, subtly lit interior which has enough character to create an ambience many nearby places lack. With more than enough 'standing room only' chain pubs and overpriced pseudo-trendy bars up the road, the Two Brewers comes recommended as somewhere to find a more traditional pub experience.
