This place doesn't look much from the outside, but it's actually a reasonable pub. There's lots of room, a couple of pool tables, a beer garden (well, tables on the pavement) and several tellies scattered around the place. There was no real ale on the taps, which wasn't a great surprise, to be honest. And, while there's not a lot along this stretch, it's not that much of a destination, at least for us. It's friendly enough, and the fact it gets mums with children means it's fairly relaxed, too. Caribbean food is promised on the menu, but we didn't try it. We just didn't warm to it on this visit.
