You can almost see Battersea Power Station from here - but the view obviously isn't good enough, as the walls are covered in all kinds of photos and other representations of the famous landmark. Seeming to attract a wider demographic than other pubs in the Battersea Park area, our visit to the Victoria found couples, pool players and friends of all ages having a good time in a smart but relaxing environment. The Victoria also serves as proof a pub can provide great food without the need to call itself a dining room. Along with a selection of four ales on tap, they also have live music, wine and cheese nights, poker nights and a Sunday quiz. With all this served up by genuinely friendly staff you're pretty much assured a good time in this solid and well run local pub; one of the best in the area.
